You have probably seen John Mason’s Map of Newfoundland (ca. 1617).  If you have, you have probably wondered how this map fits into the early history of Newfoundland and the broader Atlantic World.

Join us from 5-6 on Friday May 17 for a special Spring presentation.  Our speaker will be Mr. Dan Duda, Map Librarian at the QE II Library, Memorial University.

We will meet in the Green Room of the Spirit of Newfoundland Bar.  We hope to see you there.
