The Early Modern Network is made up of people from St. John’s Newfoundland who have a common interest in Early Modern history. The network meets biweekly for a presentation on an aspect of the Early Modern period. Presentations are followed by questions and discussion.
Presenters are local experts and scholars, often faculty from Memorial University. Click here to see the list of presenters from our inaugural year, 2010-2011.
Meetings begin at 5:30pm (or as posted) and are held at the extended bar of the Spirit of Newfoundland’s Masonic Temple, 6 Cathedral Street, St. John’s, pictured at left. If you need directions to the Masonic Temple, click here.
All are welcome. A rental cover fee of $5 will be charged, except for students, who are admitted for free.
